RV or boat

"RV or boat linear ft” refers to the total straight-line length of the RV or boat from the very front to the very back, measured in feet. This includes anything that extends the length—like bumpers, ladders, trailers, or swim platforms (for boats).

It’s a common way to calculate pricing for services like:

  • Detailing (cleaning, waxing, polishing)

  • Storage (monthly or seasonal fees)

  • Transport (towing or shipping fees)

  • Marina slips or RV park spots

Example:

If your rate is $15 per linear foot

  • A 32-foot boat = $480

  • A 40-foot RV = $600

It’s a fair and easy way to scale pricing based on the size of the vehicle or vessel.
